Thoroughly Grossed Out

Oh, man. So yesterday I found what looked like mouse droppings under my sink. As in, a mouse (probably mice) are living in my house. Uninvited. Pete confirmed it. Mice. Are. In. My. House!!!! It gives me the shivers even typing it. I am thoroughly grossed out. I can do the largest, hairiest of spiders, smash them with the bravest of them all, but I just can't do mice. The only thing worse would be a rat, but I won't even go there. My friend that lives about 20 minutes away gets lizards in her house. I would rather have lizards than rodents any day. They gross me out that bad. So Pete got some mouse traps last night, and as soon as the girls go to bed we are going to get started on project "No Mice". Wish us luck...

Good Luck! We had a mouse a couple of months back, so I've been there. Just put a bunch of traps right around where he's hanging out- them let Pete clean up the mess. :)

OH!! I am sorry! I don't blame you for being freaked out. My mom has a huge mice phobia. We have the lizard and roach problem here, which thoroughly freaks me out. Good luck getting rid of them. And I hope they get trapped when Pete is home to take care of it...:(

I thought I hated mice too! When we were in St. Louis we saw one scurrying across our floor so we set up a trap and then watched a movie we had rented, which coincidentally was Ratatouille. Towards the end of the movie we heard the SNAP and when I saw the little mouse's head caught in the trap I bawled my eyes out!!!!

Ugh! I'm sorry! We got some mice in St. Louis and Kevin killed about four, but then after that they were gone for good. Hopefully you'll be able to get rid of them quickly too!
p.s.Just read Holly's comment. She cracks me up:)

They freak me out too! We went out of town for a few days and when we came back our cat killed a mouse and dragged it up to our back step. I was seriously gagging! I'm just glad it didn't make it into my house. Good luck with the trap!

Ewww! I have tons of snakes in my yard and I didn't think anything could be worse, but mice in my house would gross me out!

I'm right there with ya sista. I'd rather have a million spiders than 1 mouse. Scott knows not even to tell me about the ones outside that he saw - Lisa let it slip though.

So once we had a mouse in our house and my mom told my dad that if it was not caught by the time she got home from work she was staying in a hotel so when I got home from school they were a mouse trap on the counter and my dad had put a computer mouse in it....Hope you caught a live one instead!
